Prior to joining Gluck Bluestone, Alex was an Associate at Holland & Knight. Alex's practice focuses on asset recovery, judgment enforcement, and commercial litigation, particularly in matters related to foreign liquidations, cross-border disputes, and complex fraud. He also has significant experience representing receivers, distribution agents, and trustees in some of the most significant digital asset-related disputes.  

Alex regularly appears in litigation matters involving foreign judgment enforcement, asset recovery, cross-border insolvencies, foreign discovery matters (including under 28 U.S.C. § 1782), and Chapters 7, 11 and 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. He often acts as legal counsel to foreign and domestic court-appointed liquidators, receivers and distribution agents in matters requiring legal and technical acumen such as high-stakes fraud, the recovery of digital/blockchain assets and intellectual property (IP) disputes. 

In addition to practicing in state and federal courts, Alex is licensed to practice in England & Wales and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). 

Alex has previously worked as a nuclear engineer and directed operations and training onboard moored naval nuclear submarines and has supervised control room and plant operations at a commercial nuclear power plant. His technical background as an engineer provides clients with a unique perspective on problem solving and creative dispute resolution.
